Gratulationen, Küsschen von Damen und Blumen, sowie Anspielungen darauf, dass ich eine Champagnerparty geben müsste: Dies waren die Reaktionen auf meinen frischgewonnenen Titel als Russlands Sexist des Jahres 2018. Diese Auszeichnungen werden von einer der vielen winzigen, unbekannten, aber lautstarken feministischen Gruppierungen vergeben. Aber sie bleiben eben alle winzig und unbekannt, ganz egal wie sehr sie sich bemühen. The anti-tobacco industry tell us that if smoking had been invented today, it would immediately be banned outright. With the health, safety, food and drug laws we have in place, coupled with what we now know about smoking, there is no way any Government would allow smoking, or the sale of tobacco to be legal. “If smoking was unknown to us and someone invented it today, it would never be allowed”. Die Anti-Tabak-Industrie behauptet, dass das Rauchen, wenn es erst in der heutigen Zeit erfunden worden wäre, sofort verboten würde. Angesichts der geltenden Gesundheits-, Sicherheits-, Lebensmittel- und Drogengesetze in Verbindung mit dem heutigen Wissensstand zum Rauchen könnte keine Regierung das Rauchen oder den Verkauf von Tabak legal sein lassen. „Wäre das Rauchen uns unbekannt, und jemand würde es heutzutage erfinden, dann wäre es unter keinerlei Umständen erlaubt”.
