I live in Long Island, a suburban area adjacent to New York City. New Yorkers pride themselves on their grit, toughness and sophistication. Ich lebe in Long Island, einem Vorstadtbezirk in der Nachbarschaft von New York. New Yorker brüsten sich gerne ihres Schneids, ihrer Zähigkeit und ihrer Raffinesse. Die „Stadt, die niemals schläft“ ist auch bekannt für ihre kosmopolitischen Freizeitbeschäftigungen. Man findet dort Nahrungsmittel aus aller Welt und Nachtclubs für wirklich jeden Geschmack. New Yorks Ruf als Ort, an dem wirklich alles geht, reicht bis in koloniale Zeiten zurück.
